Wingan White was founded in Trondheim in 2024.
It started with a simple idea: To make eyewear that felt natural with the way we like to dress.
Since then, the collection has grown from sunglasses into a small universe of accessories.
We're still figuring out exactly where it will lead.
But the direction is clear: classic pieces, considered details and a wardrobe built over time.
MAZZUCCHELLI
Our frames are made from cellulose acetate produced by Mazzucchelli 1849, one of the world's leading manufacturers of acetate for eyewear.
Founded in Italy in 1849, Mazzucchelli has more than 170 years of experience working with cellulose acetate, a material traditionally used in optical and sunglass frames.
We chose Mazzucchelli for the depth, colour and character of their acetate, which allows us to create frames with a distinctive finish and feel.
CRAFTSMANSHIP
Each Wingan White frame is produced in collaboration with skilled eyewear specialists in Jiangsu, China.
Our manufacturing partners combine modern production techniques with skilled hand-finishing, allowing each frame to be carefully shaped, polished and assembled to our specifications.
PROTECTION
Our sunglasses feature UV-protective, polarized CR-39 lenses designed to reduce glare and provide clear vision in bright conditions.
For those who spend long hours in front of digital screens, our blue light glasses are designed with lenses that filter a portion of blue light while providing comfortable everyday wear.
